There are 3 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, all in NB; NS reports 1 recovery, NB reports 11. Ontario numbers are updated. 1 case is in zone 5 (Campbellton) and is under investigation. The other 2 are in zone 3 (Fredericton) and related to international travel. This means there is 1 active case in PEI, 5 in NS, 47 in NB and 4 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 861 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.

NS - “Allowing people to book their own COVID-19 test will significantly reduce the wait time from when someone first starts experiencing symptoms, to the time they receive their test results,” said NS Premier Stephen McNeil. “With the new process, it should only take 10 minutes to book an appointment.”

PEI - "While we are always evaluating our decisions and guidance using the best available evidence, I do not expect right now that we will be reducing the 14-day self-isolation requirement prior to the Christmas holiday season," added Dr. Morrison.

- The rate of increase in Canada is 0.28% with 28 deaths (19 QC, 4 ON, 3 MB, 2 AB). This marks 83/103 days at/under 0.15%, all but 2 under 0.35%.
- The US rate of increase is 0.44%. 35/41 days are at/under a 0.45% increase, 10 of them at/under 0.2%.
- Sweden's increase is 0.0% meaning 65/75 days are at/under 0.05%, all under 0.1%. Sweden has removed 15 deaths from their Covid deaths count as well.
