There are 7 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, 2 in NS, 5 in NB (NB, PEI & NS reporting so far); NS reports 1 recovery. Ontario numbers are updated. The two new cases in NS are in the Central Zone and both related to travel outside Atlantic Canada. The individuals have been self-isolating, as required. NB has recorded its 3rd death related to COVID-19. An individual between 60 and 69 died today in Zone 1 (Moncton) as a result of underlying complications, including COVID-19. This individual was one of the cases connected to the ongoing outbreak in Zone 1 and had been a resident of the Notre Dame Manor, a special-care home in Moncton. Of the 5 new cases in NB, 3 are in zone 5 (Campbellton) and 2 are in zone 1 (Moncton). This means there are 2 active cases in PEI, 6 in NS, 104 in NB and 12 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 674 tests were completed with 2 new cases reported.
