There are 8 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, all in NB. Ontario numbers are updated. Of the 8 new cases in NB, 2 are in zone 1 (Moncton) and 6 cases are in zone 5 (Campbellton). The source of the outbreak in zone 5 (Campbellton) is still under investigation, though all cases are linked at this time so there is no unknown community spread. 320 individuals in zone 5 are in isolation for precautionary reasons. The zone 1 outbreak in Moncton is confirmed as travel related, but due to privacy reasons no further information can be provided. There are still 150 people in isolation for precautionary reasons. There are no cases of student to student transmission in any of the schools that have a positive case in zone 5. 3 unrelated cases of community transmission in a 6 day period is what will trigger the red phase of restrictions in NB. This means there are 3 active cases in PEI, 4 in NS, 90 in NB and 8 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 401 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.
