There are 4 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today, 2 in NS, 2 in NFLD; NB reports 1 recovery as does NFLD. Ontario numbers are updated. The new cases in NS are in the Central Zone and are close contacts of a previously reported case. These cases are not linked to the cluster of cases in Clayton Park. The 2 new cases in NFLD are a result from residents returning from Alberta. A previous positive test was deemed to be false. The reported positive test result is in fact negative and resulted from a data manipulation error that occurred during the reporting of test results. This means there are 3 active cases in PEI, 20 in NS, 16 in NB and 7 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 1019 tests were completed with 2 new cases reported.
