There are 3 new cases in the Atlantic Bubble today. All are the cases from PEI and NS already known yesterday. This means there are 5 active cases in PEI, 4 in NS, 1 in NB and 0 in NFLD. In NS, 53/63 (84%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/63 (90%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). NS is now at 30 days without a death and Northwood is at 38 days with no new cases. Yesterday, 178 tests were completed with 1 new case reported.

The new case (in NS) is related to travel outside Canada. The individual does not reside in Nova Scotia but was passing through from the United States to Prince Edward Island. As they are still within the 14-day isolation period required by the federal Quarantine Act, they are now being quarantined under federal authority in Nova Scotia.
