There are 9 new cases in the Atlantic Provinces today, 1 in NS, 1 in NB, 7 in NFLD; NB reports 10 recoveries, NFLD reports 5. Ontario numbers are updated as of yesterday due to today's holiday. NB reported 1 death - "an individual between 80 and 89 in Zone 4 (Edmundston region) has died as a result of underlying complications, including COVID-19". This means there are 2 active cases in PEI, 10 in NS, 140 in NB and 298 in NFLD. In NS, 53/65 (82%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/65 (88%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 1620 tests were completed with 1 (0.06% positive rate) new case reported.
