There is 1 new case in the Atlantic Bubble today, it's in NFLD. The new case is travel related and is a female crew member from the television show Hudson & Rex. This means there are 0 active cases in PEI, 2 in NS, 6 in NB and 1 in NFLD, none known to be related to the Atlantic Bubble itself. In NS, 53/64 (83%) NS deaths are from Northwood and 57/64 (89%) are from long term care in general (11 different facilities have reported cases, none have an active case). Yesterday, 501 tests were completed with 0 new cases reported.

The government is renewing a state of emergency to protect the health and safety of Nova Scotians and to ensure that businesses reopen and services are safe. The ordinance takes effect at noon on Sunday August 9 and will last until noon on Sunday August 23, unless the government terminates or extends it.
